Can you make furniture from my own drawings?

Yes. We work from architectural drawings, interior specifications, sketches, reference photographs or an existing piece of furniture. We produce general arrangement drawings for approval before manufacture begins.

Can catalogue pieces be changed?

Accepted Answer

Almost all of them. Dimensions, timber, finish, upholstery and hardware can be varied. Structural changes are reviewed by our production team before we quote.

Do you make prototypes?

Accepted Answer

For any run of more than four identical pieces we recommend a prototype, and for hospitality guestroom packages we usually insist on one.

What are typical lead times?

Ready-to-ship items dispatch within five working days. Made-to-order pieces are generally six to eleven weeks. Fully custom joinery and full project packages are quoted individually and usually include a site survey.

Which timbers do you use?

Accepted Answer

Principally iroko, mvule, African walnut and teak, selected against the climate and use of the destination. Alternatives can be specified on request.

How should furniture be maintained?

Accepted Answer

Oiled timber should be refreshed annually, more often in exposed outdoor positions. Care notes are supplied with every order and listed on each product page.

Do you deliver and install?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Delivery and installation are carried out by our own teams, including phased programmes and remote sites. Delivery regions and charges are confirmed at quotation.

Do you handle bulk and hospitality orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Full furniture packages for hotels, lodges, camps, restaurants and developments, including crating, logistics and on-site installation.

Can I return a piece?

Accepted Answer

Ready-to-ship items may be returned unused within the period set out in our returns policy. Made-to-order and custom pieces are manufactured to your specification and are not returnable except where faulty.

How do payments work?

Accepted Answer

Ready-to-ship orders are paid at checkout. Made-to-order and project work is invoiced against a deposit and staged payments set out in your quotation.
