Bespoke
Made once, for one place.
Custom furniture and fitted joinery drawn, prototyped and built in our own workshop, then installed by the people who made it.
Where projects begin
Bring whatever you have.
Most commissions start with something incomplete. We take it from there and give you drawings to approve before anything is cut.
From your drawings
Architectural or interior drawings, an FF&E schedule, or a specification pack.
From a sketch
A rough sketch, a dimension and a photograph is enough for us to start.
From a catalogue piece
Change the length, the timber, the finish or the upholstery of anything we already make.
From a space
We survey the room and design joinery to the millimetre it actually measures.
Process
Five stages, no surprises.
01
Consultation
We meet on site or online, take the brief, and establish budget, programme and access constraints.
02
Design
General arrangement drawings, elevations and, where volume justifies it, a full prototype for sign-off.
03
Material Selection
Timber, stone, metal and textiles selected against use, climate and maintenance capability.
04
Craftsmanship
Machining to jig, hand-fitted joinery, upholstery and finishing in our own workshop.
05
Delivery & Installation
Crating, transport and installation by our own teams, including remote and phased programmes.
Materials
What we build with.

Solid timber
Iroko, mvule, African walnut and teak, conditioned to the climate of the destination.

Natural stone
Worktops, tops and vanity surfaces cut and sealed for the way each surface is used.

Metal
Blackened and powder-coated steel for structure, wear edges and fine detailing.

Upholstery
Linen, wool and leather, cut and sewn in-house with removable, re-coverable panels.

Cane and woven work
Hand-woven cane and rattan panels, produced by weavers we have worked with for years.

Responsible sourcing
Locally sourced material where the specification allows, with offcut recovery in the workshop.
Custom project brief
Tell us what you need made.
The more detail you can give, such as dimensions, timber preference, deadline or budget range, the faster we can come back with a drawing and a price.
